Glacier Walk

Today was gorgeous, beautiful and not nearly as cold out as they were reporting on the news. This morning my friend and I went out to the Mendenhall Glacier with our dogs. The wind wasn't really even blowing out over the glacier. And the sun was warm enough while we were walking that we didn't even need our hats.

The dogs had a BLAST! And it was rather nice because of the way the snow trail was it was a nice orderly walk out on the ice. I'm really hoping for nice weather this summer, we were pretty much ripped off last summer and I am hoping that their will be a LOT of sunny days this year that I can fill up with camping trips, kayak trips, hiking trips. I decided not to bring my snow shoes with me on this hike. But maybe later on.

Here are a few photos from our walk with the dogs.
